Hello! My name is Gabriela and I am a follower of Jesus. I am a Venezuelan immigrant entrepreneur who left my country with my 8-year-old son and a suitcase. Fortunately, God has always been my guide and has taken me to unexpected places. I believe that God's plans are better than my plans (Jeremiah 29:11), and He endows our hearts with gifts, talents, and passions for a reason. Years before emigrating from my country, I went to bakery school and graduated as a professional pastry chef. When I moved to North Carolina, God blessed me with the love of my husband and the opportunity to work at a much-loved local bakery, where I decorated cakes for all occasions. While working at the local bakery, I also baked and decorated cakes at home for family and friends. I'm grateful for where God has allowed me to be, and I plan to continue this entrepreneurial path for as long as God allows me. Today, I have my own baking business called Gaby's Delights in Cary, NC, which is certified by NCDA&CS. At Gaby's Delights, we focus on the details of each cake, combining this approach with personalized service to provide memorable and pleasurable experiences for any occasion. We strive to balance delicious baking with excellent customer service, accommodating your favorite flavors, fillings, and designs in each cake we make.
